RESTORATION/NUT-AND-BOLT RESTORATION

We regard every classic motorcycle as a living being. Someone with a story to tell. Where it has been, what it encountered on its journeys, how its owners treated it over the years. The restoration of a classic Ducati is not just a matter of rebuilding and refurbishing. It is far more a process of leaving as much personality in the bike while bringing the technical condition to the highest standards. We like to preserve what we call the patina of the bike.

Unfortunately this is not always the possible. If a bike is too far gone a full ‘nut-and-bolt’ restoration is necessary. A nut-and-bolt restoration incorporates everything that can be done to bring your Ducati in a concours condition, probably better than it had when it left the factory. It includes a full engine rebuild, paint job, and complete new assembly where we take care of every single little detail.

We see many bikes in a restored condition as if they were not good enough in the first place. When it comes to a full nut-and-bolt restoration, we take the factory standards as a basis. We have gathered extensive knowledge of the ways a Ducati should be build. We use original nuts and bolts, we have a huge stock of New Old Stock parts available and we know how a classic Ducati should be painted using the correct colours and decals.

If you have a classic Ducati in need of a restoration or if we find the bike of your dreams but in a bad state, we’d like it very much to bring it back to top condition. We start by evaluating every single part of the bike. Can we re-use? Can we refurbish? Can we replace? This process is off course extensively discussed with you.

Next is the actual rebuilding of you bike. We have the skills and tools available to restore the bike of your dreams. You will be kept posted on a regular basis and receive a photo book of the complete process once it’s finished.
